I realized I am a great follower. While not as good as a dog in following my nose, my intuition is pretty sound. I choose carefully who I follow. That is what has made me a great leader.

What is it about, Clarity? Why do we seek it out. Why do we want the clearest Diamond? The moment clarity enters our experience we can see where we have become murky, misguided. The light clarity brings to a moment is coveted and sought after. What if there was a simple process we could do that would evoke clarity? What if there was a simple tool that would just help us clearly know what to do next, what stands in our way, what is needed here? You know what is next. Just sign up and learn this simple tool.

My Son’s favorite saying. Acceptance is always easy when everything is going your way. What to do when it isn’t. Acceptance is possible and even easy when you organize and get clarity. Using the compass on a daily basis provides some priorities and assists me in accepting things as they are. I still may not like them, however, it is what it is.

The ongoing nuclear crisis reminds us how careful we need to be when speeding forward with new ideas. I am reminded to give back each moment as we are abundant and given much. Scrambling to always have more is simply an addiction, not necessary to live or have a happy, balanced life. Nick and I have an ongoing discussion on happiness and functional living. I am thinking that we are essentially saying the same thing.

No one can really know what the future holds. You make plans, you have ideas. You are hoping for a bright future and the decisions you make today will affect tomorrow.
Which way shall I go?
What shall I do?
How can I make this work?
I use my compass to help me chart my course through all the different choices I have created to make my life the way I want it. It is personal, and requires a personal choice that I make. This is what I want. Now. Thank you Compass.
Shari

Being inspired is then available every breath, as you all know. I feel it is the conscious presence that transcends the confusion of the mind and blends the intuitive with the emotions with the physical. Living an inspired life, how cool is that?

We have what is called a new moon today, I think it is still the old one. Although things do change moment to moment I am constantly surprised by how affected I am by the same old stuff. Sometimes I think all I need is a new attitude. A new perspective perhaps, or even a renewed appreciation for this moment, and this one too. There are quite a few moments to appreciate until you just run out of them. My Compass helps me balance my appreciation for the breath I have and the moment I am in, whether my job changes or my surroundings change or I am one with the changes or not. Change it all will though, whether it is a new moon or an old one. Shari Carlson

A funny thing recently happened. There I was, within my own thoughts, just being with my self, going through the steps of the compass and reaching some answers that I had been holding out on asking the questions too. You know, the ones you think you really don’t want the answers too.

I was plotting the course for me to take, and just then the director yelled “ACTION.” I began to yell, scream and cheer with the hundreds of others I was seated next to in the Oakland Colloseum.

Oh...did I forget to mention I was an extra within a crowd of many others, in a film they are making in Oakland.

We face change all the time. Some times it is not much of a deal, such as, oh they are out of ranch dressing...I will have the 1000 Island or I’m not in the mood for a coffee, I guess I will have some tea.

Change can leave you feeling adrift and often alone. We all need others, friends or family to help us anchor through the storm but the real fact we must face is that we must set off again to meet the next storm and not let it push us back. We must take advantage of the winds of change and navigate our way through.

Life is not always storms and we should look forward to those days that we get to lay out in the sun and enjoy the calm. Fortunately, I have the tools to plot my way through and it does not hurt to bring your friends with you, especially if they are bringing the wine.

When I am out of balance, which happens to me actually at some point every day, I rely on the Essential Compass to balance me.
This is my saving grace. I can now more clearly assess how I am getting out of balance, and am learning more quickly how to adjust my center.
What an amazing tool this is. Even though I wish I had developed it much sooner, I am so grateful that I have it now, today to assist me in being present creating myself to be who I am.

Life is not easy and unfortunately it is far from fair. Some mornings you wake up and find that with the coming of dawn also comes a new load of problems and of course, more questions needing answers.

This is where I found myself today. I could, like many may, sit down and pour myself a large drink and try to handle it all tomorrow. Or even take a short walk here in the city to a little shop and engorge myself on all the chocolate my wallet can afford. None of that is going to really help.

The events of today I really can’t take that light and I need to find a way through them, today. So this is the part where I must sign off and seek my answers the best way I know how, my Compass.

Most of us seek and we become seekers. Committed life long seekers. At first we were seekers of truth or enlightenment or whatever. At some point the act of seeking became the point. The vision was lost.
Even being a finder, as in I found the truth or I found whatever still can become dismissive of the moment.
I suggest be in the moment. Neither be a seeker or a finder The moment offers everything that anyone could seek or find.
But if you find my glasses I would appreciate it. I have been seeking them for hours.
