I have a one woman show that changes with each performance and in which there are times I might portray a hundred or more people. Before the most recent staging, I realized I was feeling lost at times during rehearsal and that I would need something to hold onto for the actual show, which I knew was going to be before a couple hundred people. I remembered the Essential Compass and did the work. That tool couldn't be more aptly named! I got onstage and knew exactly where to go in myself at every moment. The choice to do this resulted in a standing ovation and an opportunity to let this project grow and move to a five hundred seat theater and to be part of the healing of my community.
